David has been a lover of travel since heading to Europe in his early years, as so many Aussies do. It was destiny that brought him back to Sydney, opening 3 Thai restaurants and a print & design business spanning over 20 years.
Fast forward to 2012, returning from 6 years in Thailand, saw him looking for a career change. The travel industry! He had finally found his passion in life.
He was soon working in his home suburb of Mosman for travel giant Flight Centre & Travel Associates for the next 8 years. During these wonderful years, many friendships were formed with colleagues and clients alike.
DMac (as he is known in the industry), has traveled with some of the best and highly respected tour companies, cruise lines, hotels & resorts, the World has to offer.
In 2021, a new direction in travel was emerging and thus, DMac Travel was established. Offering clients the personal touch of a highly experienced travel agent along with a Browse & Book tool, it seemed a natural fit in today’s online world!
